Harry Potter series is obviously centred in a male character, but one of the great thing about the Harry Potter series is that there's an abundance of strong females in the books and movies. Growing up with Harry Potter give me the chance to grow up with strong female role models. The woman/girls of Harry Potter are brave and wise.
